In a comprehensive statement released by National Coordinator Comrade Israel Uwejeyan, the organization addressed concerns about public comments made by former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, regarding the 2027 political transition.
Central to NDYC’s response is its opposition to statements advocating the use of force in political processes. The youth congress emphasized that such rhetoric contradicts fundamental democratic principles and could potentially undermine regional stability.
