in a powerful demonstration of unity and civic engagement, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by Ambassador Solomon Adodo, today, July 4, 2025, joined youths from across the country at the Federal High Court in Abuja in solidarity during the hearing of the case between Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the President of the Senate
Gathered in the spirit of oneness, the NYCN emphasized the importance of national cohesion and democratic accountability. Following the court’s ruling, Amb. Solomon Adodo, speaking on behalf of the Council, boldly declared their satisfaction with the judgment, describing it as a victory for justice and the Nigerian people.
“We are pleased with the judgment delivered by the court today. It reflects the strength of our judiciary and the principles of fairness, transparency, and democracy. We commend the court for this courageous ruling and urge them to continue their good work in protecting the interests of the nation,” said Amb. Adodo.
The NYCN applauded the judiciary for its role in upholding the rule of law and reiterated its commitment to supporting democratic institutions. The Council also called on Nigerian youths to remain actively engaged in governance and the legal process as a means of safeguarding the future of the country.
This engagement follows NYCN’s previous involvement in national events, including the recent celebration of 26 years of uninterrupted democracy on June 12, 2025, as earlier reported by FCT Focus.
